INTRODUCTION TO mitcham

The Mitcham area is a wonderful village esque neighbourhood which centres on a retail and hospitality hub around the Mitcham Fair Green. The High Street is riddled with lots of food, charity and clothing shops, giving it a strong community fee. It’s always in demand with professionals for its easy access to the City, and families due to the large number of primary and secondary schools available. Mitcham offers ample greenspaces allowing for exercise or social meets – from the Fair Green to the Common, the golf course to the Figgs Marsh there’s plenty of outside space to explore and enjoy. Mitcham has more to offer families as well, with not only excellent schools but also lots of leisure facilities & after school / weekend activities.

The property prices are very reasonable and with easy access to other built-up areas it’s been a no-brainer for many residents to live here. Famous for its Three Kings Pond and popular Cricket Green, which is the one of the oldest of its kind in the WORLD, you’re never short of something to do in the Mitcham area!
